IN DESIGN: The renovation of this 3,600SF residence built in the ‘80s includes the insertion of a central stair to provide access to underutilized loft space. The stair takes on a supple sculptural quality, softening the hard, angled geometry of the living room space. The stair geometry extends to the foyer, creating a new entry sequence and access to the guest suite and home office. Additional scope includes updated hardware throughout, a three-season porch addition, and enlarged fenestration and doors to provide ample access to the landscape.
